HONORARY AWARDS
Montana DECA's Annual Honorary Awards recognize individuals for outstanding and significant contributions toward the development and progress of Montana DECA. Our Honorary Awards provide the opportunity to recognize dedicated supporters from the local to statewide levels who further our mission of preparing emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management.
The Montana DECA Hall of Fame award was established in 1996, on the occasion of National DECA’s 50th anniversary. This award was created to honor those special individuals who have left their positive footprints on Montana DECA throughout history. Nominations are reviewed by the Montana DECA Executive Board and State Director. Inductions are awarded based on the significant impact of the individual, with the prestigious award being presented at the Montana DECA State Career Development Conference in early February. The Hall of Fame Award is the highest recognition a DECA Member/Advisor can achieve.
The Advisor of the Year recognizes a Montana Chapter Advisors significant impact on students' lives, contribution to the growth of the organization, and their demonstrated unwavering dedication to their role? It's time to recognize their hard work and dedication! This prestigious honor celebrates the tireless efforts of DECA advisors who go above and beyond in guiding and supporting their students.
The Member of the Year Award is designed to recognize an outstanding chapter member for their hard work, performance, and dedication to Montana DECA and their chapters. Nominations are reviewed and selected by the State Director and Montana DECA Executive Council, and presented at the Montana DECA State Career Development Conference.
All nominations must be submitted by November 1, 2023 for consideration and recognition at the Annual State Career Development Conference.
