The Montana DECA Hall of Fame award was established in 1996, on the occasion of National DECA’s 50th anniversary. This award was created to honor those special individuals who have left their positive footprints on Montana DECA throughout history. Nominations are reviewed by the Montana DECA Executive Board and State Director. Inductions are awarded based on the significant impact of the individual, with the prestigious award being presented at the Montana DECA State Career Development Conference in early February. The Hall of Fame Award is the highest recognition a DECA Member/Advisor can achieve.

The Member of the Year Award is designed to recognize outstanding chapter members for their hard work, performance, and dedication to Montana DECA and their chapters. Nominations are reviewed and selected by the State Director and Montana DECA Executive Council, and presented at the Montana DECA State Career Development Conference.
